Param Sundari Teaser: Sidharth Malhotra Plus Janhvi Kapoor Equals Romance
New Delhi: Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are set to share screen space for the first time in the upcoming romantic comedy Param Sundari. The makers shared the first look of the film on Instagram on Thursday. The teaser introduces Sidharth as the male protagonist Param, showcasing his fit physique in the opening scene. Next, we see Janhvi as Sundari, fluttering her beautiful eyes behind a hand fan. The visuals then shift to Kerala's stunning backwaters and houseboats, with the leads enjoying a romantic bike ride set to Sonu Nigam's soulful music. It is then followed by glimpses of dramatic moments to come in their love story. The side note read, "Where North's fire meets South's grace, it calls for the biggest love story of the year! Param Sundari teaser leaked online: Rajkummar Rao and Wamiqa Gabbi's latest film Bhool Chuk Maaf released on Friday. With it came a surprise for fans who reached the theatres on day 1. The teaser of Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor-starrer Param Sundari was screened in theatres with Bhool Chuk Maaf. However, the teaser has now leaked online on social media, only hours after its screening in the cinema halls. Many social media users have shared video clips from the theatre, leaking the teaser of the upcoming film, Param Sundari. In the clip, Sidharth is introduced as Param. It shows his body transformation for the film as he flaunts his chiselled body with well-defined six-pack abs. On the other hand, Janhvi Kapoor aka Sundari makes her first appearance in the teaser. Looking stunning, she makes an entry in a desi avatar. Her big, beautiful eyes steal the limelight. The teaser shows stunning visuals from Kerala's scenic backwaters and iconic houseboats, setting a dreamy tone for the film. Sidharth Malhotra and Janhvi Kapoor are seen riding through lush landscapes, sharing romantic scenes as a soulful track by Sonu Nigam plays in the background. It also offers glimpses of emotional highs and lows in the love story filled with drama and emotions. Reacting to the teaser, many on the internet shared their excitement for the film. Nimrat Kaur is basking in the success of her latest web series, The Legacy of the Raisingghs: Kul. Released on Jiohotstar, the thriller-drama series also stars Ridhi Dogra and Amol Parashar in lead roles. Recently, the Dasvi actress opened up about losing work opportunities in the film industry, as people thought she had moved to a foreign country. The actress also revealed how people have misconceptions about her acting preferences. During a recent interview with India Today, Nimrat claimed that many assumed she had permanently relocated to Los Angeles (US). The actress was asked if her acting choices have led people to think this was, she replied, 'I do take responsibility for that. I always thought they knew I was here, but many believed that I was in LA (Los Angeles), that I had moved there. I love working abroad, but living in a foreign country is unthinkable for me." 'They also felt that I wouldn't want to do certain kinds of films, and I always wondered where these assumptions came from. Fortunately, I have been able to do stuff that suits me, and I feel grateful and lucky nonetheless," she added. Furthermore, she discussed the current state of the industry and how films are failing at the box office. The actress revealed, 'I see that there are so many capable and able actors around me who haven't been employed. But one needs to run the household, rents to pay, families have to be kept up, and bills need to be cleared. This is a profession at the end of the day. When things don't work, there is nervousness in the market, budgets are curtailed, and projects take longer to roll out." Later, Nimrat also spoke about what kind of role she wants to explore in her career, to which she replied, 'I would really like to do something like that, or even a horror comedy. I would also like to do a romantic comedy, or a lot of what I have already done. I want to attempt action, and something in line with The Test Case, which is absolutely close to my heart." 'He was a young army major, an engineer posted on the border roads of the army in a place called Verinag (the first valley after the Jawahar Tunnel on your way to Srinagar from Jammu). Kashmir was not a family station, so we continued living in Patiala when he went to Kashmir,' Nimrat told ETimes. They had made some ridiculous demands of some terrorists to be released that he obviously did not agree to. He was just 44 when he died. We got the news and flew back with his body to Delhi, and I saw his body for the first time only in Delhi,' she explained. 'But, the army stands by you like a rock. They are your family, and even today, they will come at the drop of a hat if you need something, and they will do anything for you. I also think it's to do with my father's goodwill and his relationship with people,' she shared. However, years later, following the screening of The Lunchbox at the Cannes Film Festival, Kaur chose to revisit Verinag. It was a poignant attempt to find some form of emotional closure in the place where she had last seen her father Bhupender Singh was posthumously awarded the Shaurya Chakra , one of India's highest military and civilian gallantry honours. Fittingly, the recognition was bestowed on March 13, Nimrat Kaur's her late father's 72nd birth anniversary, Nimrat Kaur, along with her mother and sister, inaugurated a memorial in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan, honouring Major Bhupender Singh and 12 other martyrs from the region. The tribute, a dream 30 years in the making, was realised with support from local authorities and army personnel. Kaur expressed deep pride at commemorating her father's legacy in his recently starred in Kull: The Legacy of the Raisingghs, which is avaialble for streaming on JioHotstar.
