Professional Expert Explains Why 'Smart' Guys Struggle With Dating
Blaine Anderson is not surprised by men struggling in the dating world. It's why she went into the business in the first place.
Anderson, who runs is a dating and matchmaking coach for men. She says she was inspired to pursue this career by watching guys have trouble with the opposite sex during her days at the University of Arizona.
"My guy friends would ask me for dating advice about my sorority sisters," Anderson says. "The BEST guys had the WORST luck with girls, and it confused me. I became obsessed with figuring out why. Do women hate nice guys? Or is there another problem?"
Anderson was probably around a lot of intelligent men during her time at U of A, and now, she says she's noticed a trend that explains why some smart guys struggle with women.
According to her latest Instagram video, they are too wrapped up in their heads.
"It's because you overthink every possible outcome and talk yourself out of making a move. Too much thinking and not enough doing," Anderson said.
"So next time you see a beautiful woman, stop analyzing and start approaching."
Anderson regularly shares different dating tips for men on her IG account, including hairstyle suggestions, texting advice and fashion guidance.
"Dating is a SKILL. If you believe in yourself, and have the humility to believe there are things you can learn, you will see big changes with a little effort and the right plan," she says on her website.
