Sister Rose Pacatte from the Daughters of St. Paul has been a nun for nearly 60 years and currently lives in Rome. People need to realize if there's a problem, and women are not part of the solution, it will not be solved in any type of long-term meaningful way," she says. "Women have to always be part of the solution. I think Pope Francis brought us a lot closer than anyone has ever brought us. I still think that there will be a women's diaconate. And the only reason they don't have it, I think, is because they're afraid."
