Man charged with breaking in and stealing firearm from Upstate gun store
OCONEE COUNTY, S.C. (WSPA) – A man was arrested and charged in connection to a gun store burglary in Oconee County.
On May 24, officers were called out to Deep Defense South on Highway 123 regarding reports of a burglary. Upon arrival, officers were told that an AR-15 style rifle had been stolen from the business.
27-year-old David Justin Drago of Seneca was charged with one count each of second degree burglary, grand larceny, malicious injury to property and unlawful possession of a machine gun.
Authorities said the stolen firearm and accessories have been recovered.
