Constable's Office: Man arrested on money laundering warrants in East El Paso
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — A 31-year-old man was arrested on Thursday, April 17, in East El Paso for multiple active criminal warrants, including money laundering, according to the El Paso County Constable's Office Precinct 3.
David King Paiz, 31, was arrested on three charges of money laundering, one charge of bingo regulations and one charge of engaging in organized criminal activity that totaled to a $100,000 bond, according to the Constable's Office.
In addition, Paiz was also charged with assault family violence with a $10,000 bond, according to the Constable's Office.
According to the Constable's Office, Paiz was located at the 10800 block of Saigon Drive and was charged with the warrants. He was then taken into custody without further incident and booked into the El Paso County Jail.
Paiz was originally arrested last year by the Texas Office of the Attorney General, the Constable's Office said.
According to the Constable's Office, Paiz was accused of running an illegal bingo operation through Facebook.
