Angela Lloyd wins Middletown Mayoral primary
MIDDLETOWN, Pa. (WHTM) – Angela Lloyd won the Democratic primary for Middletown Mayor over David Scully.
Lloyd currently serves on the borough council and was previously Council President before being voted out in 2020, alleging that a 'boys club' was running the borough.
Lloyd was endorsed by the Dauphin County Democratic Committee in the primary race against Scully.
Middletown Mayor James Curry did not run for re-election, though he did run for a seat on the borough council.
Republican Jared Michael Knaub ran unopposed in the Republican mayoral primary.
