Kylie Jenner Steals Hearts as Supportive Girlfriend to Timothée Chalamet at Red Carpet Debut — Here's What She Did

Kylie Jenner made a series of stylish appearances during the 2025 awards season as she supported boyfriend Timothée Chalamet. The couple's first official red-carpet debut came at the 70th David Di Donatello Awards in Rome. Jenner wore a black Schiaparelli gown from the Fall/Winter 2025 collection, featuring a plunging neckline and curve-hugging silhouette. Chalamet received the David for Cinematic Excellence and matched Jenner's elegant look in a velvet suit with a boutonniere. The moment was a highlight for the couple, who have been linked since April 2023 and have attended several events together in recent months. Here's why Kylie Jenner wore only black to the awards In a recent interview with Harper's Bazaar published on May 28, Kylie Jenner shared why she continued to choose black dresses. 'I think it just, like, happened that way,' she said. 'Even recently I was like, I can't wear another black dress. And then, of course, the most perfect, gorgeous Schiaparelli black dress shows up.' The Khy founder added that black is a safe, timeless choice. 'Although these are the most beautiful, iconic gowns that I've been wearing, I think a black dress is also kind of like, not too attention-grabbing in the best way. You can never go wrong with a black dress.' Kylie's preference for black was clear at multiple events. At the 2025 Oscars, she chose a sparkling, skin-baring Miu Miu gown with a plunging bra top and floor-length skirt. Although the look was a shift from her usual black choices, she returned to her signature color for the after-party. There, she wore a sheer black Ashi Studio Haute Couture dress featuring a lace corset bodice and a see-through skirt. Timothée Chalamet also stayed in sync with Jenner's looks. For the after-party, he wore a black embossed blazer and slacks, complementing her outfit once again. Jenner also appeared in black at the 2025 BAFTA Awards, Berlin Film Festival, and Santa Barbara Film Festival. Her looks included a vintage John Galliano dress and other bodycon styles. A source told PEOPLE in April that this awards season was intense for the couple. A source said that the awards season and premieres earlier in the year had been intense for Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet's relationship, but they were making it work. The source added that Kylie was truly his biggest fan and often cleared her schedule to attend awards and premieres with him, showing full support for his career.

Timothée Chalamet dodges Kylie Jenner's kiss — and ‘embarrassing' moment is caught on live TV

Don't look down. Timothée Chalamet and his girlfriend, Kylie Jenner, suffered an 'embarrassing' and 'awkward' moment at the 70th David di Donatello Awards in Rome on Wednesday after making their couple debut on the red carpet. Jenner, 27, first linked to Chalamet, 29, in 2023, looked proud to be by the actor's side at the lavish Italian awards show, where he was honored with the David for Cinematic Excellence. The Kylie Cosmetics founder stunned in a chic, long and black Schiaparelli gown with a low-cut, swooped neckline. Wearing her hair slicked back and in a tight bun, Jenner appeared happy to be her boyfriend's plus one — until he accidentally gilded her on live television. The awkward encounter with Jenner happened when it came time for Chalamet to jump on the stage and collect his award. As the audience applauded with all eyes on him, the actor came close to his famous girlfriend for a congratulatory kiss. However, when Jenner came in for round two, leaping toward Chalamet's mouth, the star had already moved on to collect praise from the people sitting behind them. The 'Dune' actor left Jenner and her famous lips hanging — and the flub was caught by cameras, with the makeup mogul sinking back into her chair as he made his way to the podium. 'Ah the kiss pull away moment is so embarrassing for her,' one person reacted on social media. 'No chemistry whatsoever. And he can't even fake it,' another wrote about the couple. 'Literally and forced to kiss her, and the fact he rejected the second kiss lmaoooo,' added a third, while someone else commented, 'Did she really think he would kiss her spontaneously? She was upset about the second missed kiss poor star.' Chalamet was honored with the prestigious award for his filmography, with The Sun reporting the honor was mainly focused on his 2024 successes, like 'Dune: Part Two' and his award-winning role as Bob Dylan in 'A Complete Unknown.' While social media is still reeling from the kiss snub seen around the world, Chalamet and Jenner appeared unaffected by the fumble. The couple continued to pack on the PDA inside the award show, looking more loved up than ever, with their carpet debut taking the world by storm — but not 'Snow White' star Rachel Zegler. The actress appeared to mock Chalamet's fans after the pair walked the red carpet. The 'Wonka' actor, who wore a dapper, black velvet suit with loafers to the event, began dating Jenner in April 2023. This wasn't the first award show they've attended together. Jenner accompanied her man to the Golden Globes, Oscars, and BAFTAs during the 2025 award season, with Chalamet nominated for best actor at every show. Despite all the nominations for 'A Complete Unknown,' the actor only walked away with the SAG award. Jenner was not there to cheer him on in person. The pair doesn't mind showing PDA, but they rarely speak about their relationship. Chalamet expressed the importance of his privacy to GQ in 2023. When questioned how he can be private, considering his and Jenner's fandoms, he brought up a 'South Park' episode. 'This reminds me of that recent 'South Park' episode with the Worldwide Privacy Tour,' Chalamet said, referencing the animated comedy parodying Prince Harry and Meghan Markle demanding their privacy while in the public eye. The actor admitted that not everyone respects or understands his wishes. 'Sometimes, people are going to be hella confused when you say you're trying to live a private life,' he added.
