Sheriff Grady Judd speaks about arrests made in Lakeland double-homicide
WINTER HAVEN, Fla. (WFLA) — Sheriff Grady Judd will speak Wednesday regarding multiple arrests made in an alleged double-homicide that occurred earlier this week.
The Polk County sheriff said the incident happened Monday on Pirates Way around 1:30 p.m. when a Mercedes AMG crashed into a Lakeland house.
The driver of the car, Davin Boutwell, 19, was found with a fatal bullet wound in his chest, according to Sheriff Grady Judd.
Another individual, Nathaniel Jones, 38, was riding his bike at the time and was also killed in the crash.
The briefing is scheduled to begin at 1:30 at the PCSO Sheriff's Operation Center at 1891 Jim Keene Boulevard.
