Dhale' holds festival commemorating day of guardianship
Dhale' - Saba: Local authorities and Mobilization Forces in Yemen's Al Dhale'e Governorate today organized a festive and speech-filled event to commemorate the Day of Guardianship of Imam Ali (peace be upon him). Acting governor Abdullatif Al-Shaghdari emphasized the anniversary's importance in solidifying the principle of guardianship and emulating Imam Ali's life. Al-Shaghdari highlighted the strong bond between Yemenis and Imam Ali, and their deep belief in his guardianship, which was declared by the Prophet on the Day of Ghadir Khumm. Al-Shaghdari also spoke on Imam Ali's virtues, his support for truth against injustice, and his role in instilling a culture of jihad and martyrdom rooted in divine teachings. Also speaking at the event, Mobilization Official Ahmed al-Marrani stressed adherence to Imam Ali's guardianship and following the path set by God and His Messenger, emphasizing that sincere loyalty to God, His Messenger, and Imam Ali is crucial for preserving the nation's dignity and pride. Al-Haymah al-Dakhiliyah district hosts festival marking al-Wilayah
Sana'a – Saba: A carnival and speech festival was held on Saturday in al-Haymah al-Dakhiliyah district in Sana'a governorate to commemorate al-Wilayah of Imam Ali ibn Abi Talib. The festival, organized in coordination with the General Mobilization Forces, took place in Hijrat al-Ayn village, Rub' al-Qadmah neighborhood, Bani al-Sayyagh. The diverse activities, blending popular, cultural, and religious heritage, underscored the strong connection of al-Haymah al-Dakhiliyah's people to Imam Ali. Participants affirmed their deep belief in al-Wilayah, which was declared by the Prophet on the Day of Ghadir Khumm. The festival highlighted the occasion's importance in instilling values of loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the faithful, aiming to reform the path of true Islam and restore its glory. The event featured chanting, poetry, popular songs, folkloric dances, and fireworks, with participants raising models of the Dhu al-Fiqar sword and slogans signifying the occasion.
