High flying acts announced for 2025 Dayton Air Show

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The CenterPoint Energy Dayton Air Show announced some of the exciting acts fans can expect at this year's show. In just over a month, the Dayton Air Show returns to the Dayton International Airport. On Wednesday, organizers shared some of the high-flying performances set to arrive June 21-22. GALLERY: Dayton Air Show 2024 The U.S. Thunderbirds will return to the Gem City to headline this year's show. Other acts include the Red Bull Air Force, the U.S. Army Golden Knights and the Fighter Jets Demo Team. Organizers are excited to show a variety of different acts to fans this summer. 'We're really fortunate with the show, a lot of different acts want to come and be in our show,' said Kevin Frankin, Dayton Air Show executive director. DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — The Dayton Air Show will return this summer for its 51st year, with several updates in the works. With just 129 days to go until the big event returns to the Miami Valley, Dayton Air Show is already preparing for new changes mixing with the classic attractions. GALLERY: Dayton Air Show 2024 Shiela Wallace, media relations coordinator for the Dayton Air Show, stopped by on Tuesday to talk about the exciting updates in store for this summer. The Dayton Air Show returns on June 21-22, with new announcers Ric Peterson and Matt Jolley. The newcomers will fill the shoes of long-time announcer Rob Reider, who retired after the 50th anniversary show last year. The show will also feature exciting new attractions, like the Goodyear Blimp.
