61-year-old woman dead after motorcycle crash in Preble Co., OSHP says

A woman is dead after a motorcycle crash in Preble County on Tuesday afternoon. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] State troopers from the Dayton Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol (OSHP) responded at 4:12 p.m. to Eaton Gettysburg Road near Spacht Road in Preble County on reports of a crash, according to an OSHP spokesperson. David Monebrake, 52, from Eaton drove the Toyota. Dailey died from her injuries while being transported to Preble County Medical Center, the spokesperson said. The crash remains under investigation. DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A woman is dead after a motor vehicle versus pedestrian crash on Hoover Avenue in Trotwood. Police are looking for the driver who fled the scene. On Thursday, March 13, at approximately 9 p.m. a 66-year-old was crossing Hoover Avenue from south to north. A vehicle heading east on Hoover Avenue hit her in the road and fled. The woman was declared dead at the scene by crews present. The Ohio State Highway Patrol is asking for the public's help to find the vehicle and driver. It is believed to be a black 2006-2013 Chevrolet Impala. It might have damage to the front and bumper area.
