All About Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness's Two Children, Oscar and Ava
Hugh Jackman and Deborra-Lee Furness welcomed their first child, Oscar Maximilian Jackman, in 2000. The couple's daughter, Ava Eliot Jackman, was born on July 10, 2005. Jackman and Furness amicably separated in 2023 after 27 years of Jackman doesn't just play a dad on the big screen. The Australian actor is the proud parent of son Oscar Maximilian Jackman and daughter Ava Eliot Jackman, whom he shares with ex-wife Deborra-Lee Furness. Jackman met Furness on the set of Correlli, an Australian prison drama, in 1995. The pair, who have a 13-year age gap, wed the following year. After undergoing IVF treatments, they adopted their son Oscar in 2000 and their daughter Ava in 2005. Jackman discussed the 'painful' struggle to become a father in a 2011 Herald Sun interview. 'From the moment we started the adoption process, all the anxiety went away,' he said. 'I don't think of them as adopted–they're our children. Deb and I are believers in … I suppose you could call it destiny. We feel things happened the way they are meant to. Obviously, biologically wasn't the way we were meant to have children.' My dad was an accountant and I thought it was cool, but no one cared." Of course, there are some perks to having a superhero for a father. "When my son was younger, he found out he was part Bosnian, so we went and got this Croatian/Bosnian cookbook and he was very proud to carry that around when he was 7 years old," Furness told People in 2020. A now-deleted Instagram post shows him and his sister, mother, and father attending his commencement ceremony. Ryan Gosling to star in new 'Star Wars: Starfighter' movie directed by Shawn Levy
ALBAWABA - A new Star Wars movie starring Ryan Gosling is scheduled for release in two years. Shawn Levy, the filmmaker of Deadpool & Wolverine, will helm the new Disney movie, which is called Star Wars: Starfighter starring Ryan Gosling. "The reality is that this script is just so good. It has such a great story with great and original characters," said Barbie actor Gosling at a Star Wars Celebration in Tokyo. "It's filled with so much heart and adventure, and there just really is not a more perfect filmmaker for this particular story than Shawn." Gosling's lifelong passion for the franchise was on display at the event, which showed his childhood Star Wars bedsheets on screen. "You can see from the picture, I guess I was probably dreaming about Star Wars before I even saw the film," he said. "And it's probably framed my idea of what a movie even was," he said. The film, which is scheduled for release on May 7, 2027, is a stand-alone narrative and will not adhere to the Skywalker family's main plotline or the current Daisy Ridley sequels.
