PS4 Port of Vita's Best Game Is Under $10 on PS Store
Another day, another deal for gamers to sink their teeth into. Currently, Sony's video game digital storefront is running its Dealmania promotion which sees literally hundreds of items discounted up to 75%. This includes a , and one of the most beloved JRPGs of all time. Atlus' Persona 4 Golden is currently $9.99 on the PS Store. That is a 50% discount from its typical $19.99 price tag. Interested PS4 and PS5 gamers will want to hurry though as this offer ends in six days, on March 13. 'They say your soulmate will appear if you stare into a television set on a rainy night…,' reads the game's description on the PS Store. 'This strange rumor slowly spreads through the rural town of Inaba, the protagonist's new home, just as a chain of mysterious murders begin. As the protagonist and his teammates chase after the truth, they find themselves opening the door to another world.' Persona 4 Golden was originally launched for Sony's gone but not forgotten handheld, the PS Vita, back in 2012 and was received incredibly well upon release. According to review aggregate site Metacritic, it received an average score of 93 across 61 critic reviews. It is tied with the base version of Persona 5 as the second highest-rated game in the series. The highest-rated is 2020's Persona 5 Royal, a rerelease of the fifth entry that added some new content, features, and quality-of-life improvements. Persona 4 received a plethora of spin-offs after its original 2008 release for the PS2. This includes the fighting game Persona 4 Arena, its sequel Person 4 Arena Ultimax, and rhythm game Persona 4: Dancing All Night. It was also given a manga and anime adaptation. This includes a little side-scrolling gem that released for the PS4 in 2016. Developed by Fiddlesticks and published by Curve Digital, Hue is currently just $2.99 on the PS Store. That is a whopping 80% discount off its usual $14.99 asking price. Interested players will want to move quickly on this offer as the deal ends on March 6. Purchasing the game entitles customers to both the PS4 and PS Vita versions. 'Hue is a vibrant, award-winning puzzle adventure, where you alter the world by changing its background colour,' reads the game's official description. 'You explore a dangerous grey land, unearthing coloured fragments on a journey to find your missing mother. As obstacles match the background, they disappear, creating new and exciting puzzles — full of peril, mystery… and colours unseen.' When Hue released back in 2016, it was received decently. According to review aggregate site Metacritic, it had an average score of 77 across 32 reviews. The platformer won a couple awards back when it launched, too.
