The Death and Taxes actor has been romantically linked to Ines de Ramon since the couple first publicly stepped out at the British Grand Prix last July. In a new interview with GQ, Pitt broke his silence on his girlfriend with a rare comment on their '[evolving]' relationship.
The Meet Joe Black actor, 61, jokingly hit back at speculation that he'd planned to hard-launch his relationship during last year's car race as a way to promote his upcoming film F1. 'No, dude, it's not that calculated. If you're living … oh my God, how exhausting would that be? If you're living with making those kinds of calculations?' he told the publication before shedding some light into his decision to publicly step out with the 32-year-old jewelry executive.
'No, life just evolves. Relationships evolve,' Pitt clarified. The couple, who took their relationship red carpet official while stepping out at the Venice Film Festival to support Pitt's film Wolfs, rarely speak about their relationship. However, they've been photographed stepping out at several events last fall (usually with George Clooney and his wife Amal Clooney).
Ramon was previously married to Vampire Diaries alum Paul Wesley, while Pitt was previously married to Angelina Jolie and Jennifer Aniston. The Mr. & Mrs. Smith actor's romance with Ramon is his first public relationship since his split from Jolie in 2016.
Pitt also broke his silence on his divorce from Jolie for the first time during the interview, surprisingly playing off the nearly decade-long court battle. 'No, I don't think it was that major of a thing," he shared. "Just something coming to fruition. Legally.'
