New music venue added to Guernsey cultural centre
A "unique" new music venue is being opened in a Guernsey cultural James, in St Peter Port, said the area called The Pit would open on 5 April in the basement of the 90-capacity area, which has its own bar, would be available as an educational resource, as an under-18s venue and as a performance space that could be rented, St James at the venue said it would be launched during the Decibel Tower Festival with three local bands performing and "a few surprises".
A St James spokesperson added: "With a capacity of 90, and its own access via the lower wooden staircase, it will be a unique venue to the island."
