'Met honourable Union Home and Corporation Minister Amitbhai Shah in New Delhi today, as a follow up of some important issues of the government of Maharashtra which require approvals from the government of India,' said the CM in a post on social media after the meeting. Earlier, Fadnavis also chaired and interacted at a workshop in New Delhi on Distinct Deemed University to be established in Maharashtra. Meanwhile, the state government has also convened a special cabinet meeting at Ahilyanagar in western Maharashtra on Tuesday. The meeting at Chondi in Ahilyanagar (earlier Ahmednagar) has been organised to honour and commemorate the 300th birth centenary year of the great warrior queen Ahilyabai Holkar. The cabinet is likely to make some announcements for which Fadnavis may have appraised and sought Centre's approval.
