‘Expedite emergency med procurement for monsoon'
New Delhi: Health minister Pankaj Kumar Singh on Wednesday issued directives for expediting the procurement of emergency medicine for the ensuing monsoon season. He instructed the health department to adhere to all requisite procedures within the specified timeline. The instructions were issued during a high-level review meeting with Delhi Health Department officials at the Secretariat. Dr Singh stressed the importance of maintaining adequate medicine supplies and implementation of Critical Care Blocks across all govt hospitals in Delhi. TNN

Delhi reports 23 COVID-19 cases; govt. issues advisory to hospitals
NEW DELHI A total of 23 COVID-19 cases have been reported in the national capital as of Thursday, prompting the Delhi Health Department to issue a precautionary advisory to hospitals, Health Minister Pankaj Kumar Singh said on Friday, asserting that there is 'no cause for concern'. Mr. Singh said the government was in coordination with hospitals and 'fully prepared' to deal with any situation. The Delhi Health Department is in the process of verifying the details of the 23 cases to determine whether the patients are residents of Delhi or have travelled from outside the city.
