The members, identified by the local committee, received certificates and T-shirts presented by PBS Kadamaian Chief Demis Rumanti. Among them were Michael Tinggiu, Cowboy Mialah, and Raisah Latip. PBS Deputy Chief for Kadamaian, Walter Kandayon, said the recognition was to honour members who remained steadfast through political turbulence. 'They are the party's most valuable asset. Loyal, unwavering, and not motivated by rewards,' he said, noting loyalty as a foundation of PBS's strength since 1985. Michael Tinggiu said they remained loyal because PBS is multiracial and consistently defends Sabah's rights. 'We stayed even after PBS fell in 1994 due to betrayal by some assemblymen,' he said. The event aimed to inspire younger members and called for more formal recognition programs in future. * Follow us on our official WhatsApp channel and Telegram for breaking news alerts and key updates! * Do you have access to the Daily Express e-paper and online exclusive news?
