Protesters Storm Stage as Andrew Cuomo Speaks at Brooklyn Democrats Forum
Demonstrators crowded the stage at Medgar Evers College in Brooklyn as former New York governor Andrew Cuomo spoke at a Democratic Mayoral Forum on Wednesday, April 23.
Footage captured by Jeff Coltin shows protesters storming the stage as Cuomo starts speaking. The New York City mayor candidate stays in his chair the entire time, as NYPD officers remove the disruptors.
According to The New York Times, the forum was held by the Brooklyn Democratic Party, whose leader recently endorsed Cuomo, and focused on New York City's 'Black agenda.'
