Officials find missing L.A. County man with dementia
An at-risk Los Angeles County man was found on Thursday after detectives and loved ones asked the community's help finding him.
Officials identified the missing person as L.A. County resident Dennis Dwayne Cutting, 76, who is diagnosed with dementia.
'Thank you to the public, the media, Aero Bureau, and deputy personnel for their tireless efforts in the search for Mr. Cutting,' said the L.A. County Sheriff's Department
Initially, LASD said Cutting was last seen at 9:30 a.m. on March 26 on the 22800 block of Vanowen Street in the city of West Hills.
Officials believed Cutting may have been traveling in his 2013 black Ford Focus with California plate number 6ZIU084, and that he had a possible destination in the 22900 block of Victory Boulevard.
The circumstances surrounding his discovery, including the location where he was found, were not released.
