The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, has released the schedule for the Plus Two Save A Year (SAY) and Improvement Examinations 2025. Improvement Exam: Regular students who passed all subjects with a D+ grade or above in March 2025 may appear for improvement in one subject only. Ineligibility: Private compartmental candidates and those who did not register for the March 2025 exams are not eligible for the SAY/Improvement Examination 2025. For Biology, students must appear for both Botany and Zoology papers. Kerala +2 SAY exam application process and fees Application forms for Kerala supplementary exams are available at the schools where students registered for the March 2025 exams. Completed forms, along with a principal-attested passport-sized photograph, should be submitted to the same school. School principals will handle online registration through the iExaMS portal and provide admission tickets at least three days before the exam. Important Dates Last date for fee remittance at the treasury by principals: May 28, 2025. Applications with a fine of Rs. 600: Accepted until May 29, 2025. Final date for online registration by schools: May 31, 2025. Fee Structure SAY Exam: Rs. 150 per subject without practicals and Rs. 175 per subject with practicals. Improvement Exam: Rs. 500 per subject. Certificate Fee: An additional Rs. 40. Kerala Plus Two Result 2025: The Department of Higher Secondary Education (DHSE), Kerala, today declared the results for the 2025 Class 12 board exams. Among those who appeared for the Higher Secondary and Vocational Higher Secondary examinations, a total of 77.81% of students passed. This year, the pass percentage in the Kerala HSE or Class 12 board exams has dipped compared to 2024. The overall pass rate stands at 77.81%, which is 0.88 percentage points lower than last year's 78.69%. A total of 4,44,807 students wrote the Plus Two exams held from March 6 to March 29. The Arts stream exams concluded earlier, on March 21. Science Stream Records Best Performance Among all streams, the science stream saw the highest success rate with 83.25% of students passing. The commerce stream followed with a 74.21% pass rate, while 69.16% of humanities students cleared the exam. Ernakulam district emerged as the top performer with an overall pass percentage of 83.09%. In the Vocational Higher Secondary stream, 70.06% of students qualified.
