The events will take place throughout the week and will include various seminars and talks targeted at helping youngsters develop their personalities while also increasing their cognitive, sociological, and digital awareness. These include sessions like "The Little Expert," which is conducted in collaboration with specialised departments; lectures on national digital identities, self-confidence, and safe social media use; and workshops on road safety and cybercrime prevention. Additionally, a series of storytelling events titled "A Story to Tell" and "Be My Friend, Don't Bully", as well as educational consultation sessions for families and guardians, are being offered. Major Alia Abdulrahim Al Harmoudi, Head of the Community Activities Branch at the Department of Prevention and Community Protection, stated that these initiatives represent Sharjah Police's dedication to enhancing community security and instilling a culture of prevention among all socioeconomic groups. She praised the pleasant interaction between children and parents at the police station, commending families' knowledge and eagerness to involve their children in educational activities that contribute to their protection and development. Sharjah Police encourages children, educational institutions, and families to visit their exhibit at the Sharjah Children's Reading Festival, which runs until Sunday, May 4, 2025, in support of community partnership and long-term development in security and awareness.

Commitment to ethical and religious awareness Colonel Ahmed Al-Merri, Director of the Department of Prevention and Community Protection, highlighted that such initiatives reflect Sharjah Police's dedication to fostering religious and ethical awareness among its employees. He noted that by cultivating a positive work environment built on tolerance and strengthened human relations, these efforts contribute to improved institutional performance and community service. Key themes: reconciliation and kindness The seminar was delivered by Sheikh Diaa Rashid Al-Suwaidan from the Sharjah Department of Islamic Affairs and explored several key themes, including the vital role of reconciliation in building a cohesive society and the virtues of forgiveness and kindness during Ramadan. Sheikh Al-Suwaidan underscored the importance of upholding Islamic values through acts of tolerance within families and communities. He explained that forgiveness and kindness are not only essential for nurturing relationships but are also fundamental virtues encouraged by the Quran and the Sunnah. He further pointed out that Ramadan provides an ideal opportunity to revive these principles, purify the soul, and strengthen bonds through noble character and ethical conduct. Honouring efforts in religious education At the conclusion of the event, Colonel Ahmed Al-Merri presented Sheikh Diaa Rashid Al-Suwaidan with a commemorative shield in appreciation of his valuable contributions to the seminar. The recognition was a testament to his efforts in enriching the session with religious and educational insights, ensuring its success in promoting meaningful discussions on faith and values
