VIDEO: BCSO deputy helps save teen's life who went into cardiac arrest
ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – At any moment, something can happen, and first responders are ready for it. Last month, Deputy Lawrence Chavez with the Bernalillo County Sheriff's Office responded to a 14-year-old who collapsed and stopped breathing on Nine Mile Hill.

Without hesitation, Deputy Chavez assisted Albuquerque Fire Rescue, and because of Deputy Chavez's and the paramedics' quick thinking, the young man was saved.
