Council hits back at ‘factually incorrect' claim over ratepayers' money being spent on Mayor's Ball
Derry City & Strabane Council has said widely-circulated online claims about the costs of this year's Mayor's Ball are 'factually inaccurate'. Former Derry City & Strabane councillor Emmet Doyle, who is an Aontú representative, posted about a story which said this year's Mayor's Ball will see ticket prices go up 150%.
