Man arrested after fatal crash
A man has been arrested on suspicion of causing death by dangerous driving after a fatal crash.
Leicestershire Police said officers were called to Blaby Road in Enderby at about 01:10 BST on Saturday after reports a car had "collided into a ditch".
The driver of the Mazda - a man in his 20s - was pronounced dead at the scene, while three passengers were taken to hospital for treatment.
Another 20-year-old man, from Leicester, has been released under investigation while officers carry out inquiries.
Police said a black VW Golf was reportedly travelling near the Mazda at the time of the collision.
A force spokesperson said officers were looking to speak to witnesses or anyone else with any information.
Det Con Madeleine Hayes, from the serious collision investigation unit, said: "An investigation is ongoing to establish the full circumstances of how this has happened.
"We are speaking to a number of people and while we appreciate this incident happened in the early hours of the morning, we do ask that if you have any information you do get in touch."
