Birmingham school stabbing sees six boys aged 13 and 14 arrested
Six boys, all aged 13 and 14, have been arrested after an older teenager was stabbed at a Birmingham said a 15-year-old boy was taken to hospital with two slash injuries to his back - described by officers as "significant injuries" - after an attack in the grounds of Moseley School on Wake Green Road, on Tuesday injuries "thankfully are not believed to be life-threatening", police six under arrest were all held on suspicion of wounding and remained in custody on Wednesday.
Police are supporting the victim's family and are working closely with the school, while officers examine CCTV and speak to Sgt Ballintine said: "This was an appalling attack which has left a teenage boy with significant injuries, and other pupils at the school have been left really distressed by what has happened."We are working very closely with the school to build a clear as picture as possible of what happened and why."She said it was "really important" that police hear from anyone with information or footage of what happened in the attack, which took place just before 14:00 BST.
