Man found dead at his home after being assaulted in Aldi car park as cops launch murder investigation
COPS have launched a murder probe after a man was beaten up in an Aldi car park weeks before his death.
Luke Elliott-Shircore was found dead at his home on on Wednesday June 25.

Derbyshire police said that Luke had been assaulted in the car park of an Aldi weeks before his death in Ilkeston.
It took place at around 4.15pm on Sunday, May 25.
Detective Chief Inspector Jen Lovatt, from Derbyshire police's regional major crime unit, said: 'Luke's family are aware that we have launched a murder investigation into the circumstances surrounding his death, and they are being supported by specialist officers.
'Our thoughts go out to them at this sad time, and we ask that their wishes for privacy are respected by the public and media.
"We understand that this news will cause concern to residents in Ilkeston and ask that the community come together to support our enquiries, as our investigation relies on key information from the public.
"We believe that someone in the local community will have information about the circumstances which led to Luke's death and are keen to hear from anyone who was in Aldi car park between 4-5pm on May 25.
'Did you see a man being assaulted? Or did you notice anyone behaving suspiciously? Perhaps you spoke to Luke, or saw him that day?"
Cops ask that anyone with information get in touch using reference 722 of 25 May.
