Filmmaker Vikramaditya Motwane had a pleasant surprise for his fans recently when he posted a photo of Konkona Sen Sharma and Radhika Apte. The photo captured a candid moment of the actresses laughing over food and drinks at the Old Street Café in Mumbai.
The Lootera director captured the moment and wrote, 'Nobody quite like these two stunners," to which Konkona replied in the comments, 'Awwww! Except their director!"
The photo has sparked serious speculation among fans who are hoping for the possibility that Konkona and Radhika will be featured in Motwane's upcoming project. Excited fans flooded the comment section as one wrote, 'Petition for Konkona to the screen. Previously, Motwane and Konkona collaborated on a project called MAMI Select – Filmed on iPhone, an initiative by the Mumbai Academy of Moving Image to support emerging filmmakers by providing them with monetary support, gadgets like iPhones and MacBooks, and other resources alike.
Konkona Sen Sharma and Vikramaditya Motwane along with Lijo Jose Pellissery and Vetri Maaran, mentored four selected emerging filmmakers across the country and provided them with helpful resources and guidance. On the other hand, actress Radhika Apte is collaborating with the filmmaker in her upcoming project 'Koyta."
The actress will be taking the director's chair for this feature film, while Motwane will take the role of a producer. Kyota is an action-fantasy film that follows the story of a young migrant sugarcane cutter. All these recent collaborations and now the Instagram post about the actresses are taking the audiences' anticipation to a higher level. Although there has been no official news yet, fans keep hoping to see their favourite actresses in a Vikramaditya Motwane film.
