Lee County Sheriff's Office The following reports were filed Tuesday by the Lee County Sheriff's Office. A County Road 1389, Saltillo, woman saw on her Ring camera an unknown white man with gray hair in her yard Wednesday morning around 10. The man picked up a mixed-breed puppy and walked away with it. She tried to talk to him through the camera, but he did not respond. She said if the man had come by while she was there and had asked, she would have gladly given him the puppy for free. A County Road 811, Saltillo, man said someone in an 18-wheeler turned off of County Road 831 and cut the corner short. One set of wheels went into the ditch in the man's yard, pulling up mud and dirt. The truck continued, digging ruts in his yard and across his driveway. The man said he was outside at the time and witnessed the incident. He tried to get the truck driver's attention, but the truck kept going. He said this was the first time he has seen that truck on County Road 831, but he thinks it might be too big for the road and exceed the weight limits. A County Road 54, Tupelo, woman said someone keeps knocking down her mailbox. It was knocked over again on Friday, and it looked like it had been beaten as well. She is not sure who is responsible. A County Road 1277, Nettleton, man said Monday around 8 p.m., a man wearing a neon yellow shirt and blue jeans started firing a gun just down the road. A few minutes later, the suspect appeared in front of the man's house and began firing shots and yelling toward the man's dog. The man told the suspect he needed to leave. The suspect told the man that he had better get back inside before he got hurt. When the man went back inside to call 911, the suspect walked next door and began yelling at the neighbors. Deputies responded but were unable to make contact with the suspect.
