Dhanush gets emotional at Kuberaa audio launch, slams rumour-mongers trying to sabotage his career.
Actor Dhanush turned emotional at the audio launch of his upcoming film Kuberaa held in Chennai on Sunday, June 1. Addressing a packed venue filled with fans and media, the actor spoke from the heart about the constant attempts to damage his reputation through baseless rumours, especially around his film releases.
A video from the event, now widely circulated on social media, captures the emotional moment when Dhanush spoke about finding strength in his fans during dark times.
'When I am searching for a path in darkness, a hand from above holds my hand and leads me. At that point, each of my fans turns into a torch and lights my way. Spread as many rumours as you want about me. Spread whatever negativity you want. Every time, one-and-a-half months before my film releases, initiate a negative campaign and spread it. That invisible hand and my fans who turn into a torch will make me march on," he said to loud cheers and applause from his supporters.

Also present at the event were Kuberaa co-stars Rashmika Mandanna and Nagarjuna, along with other members of the cast and crew. Directed by Sekhar Kammula, the multilingual film will see Dhanush play a character named Deva. It also features actor Jim Sarbh in a key role.
