Tiffany Tang clarifies "late for a month" for 2015's "Diamond Lover"
12 Jun - Tiffany Tang's camp recently released a lawyer's statement to clarify rumours about the actress, after a producer unwittingly tainted her good name in an effort to shower praise for Dilraba Dilmurat
The issue sparked recently, when producer Liu Yang reposted an interview with Dilraba where she spoke about nearly getting replaced in her 2015 drama, "Diamond Lover", and validated the story, saying that the team had an emergency meeting where they worked together to protect Dilraba.
He then said that the lead actress was late for a month in joining the production, which made him add more scenes to Dilraba's character and subsequently helped the actress shoot to stardom through the drama series.
His post sparked a huge debate among netizens, especially Tiffany's fans, seeing that Tiffany was the lead actress in the drama.
In response to the situation, the actress' team shared their statement via their law firm, saying that Tiffany had negotiated with the crew in advance when participating in the filming of the relevant series, and joined the crew in time according to the agreement between the two parties.
It added that there was no "late arrival" situation as rumoured on the Internet, that the information released by the relevant users was seriously untrue, which had caused the public to misunderstand and seriously damaged Tiffany's public image.
