Roads to close for Grimsby 10K

Grimsby to get two new high-tech bone scanning machines

Grimsby is to get two new bone scanning machines to help spot conditions such as DEXA machines will be installed at Diana, Princess of Wales Hospital and the new Community Diagnostic Centre (CDC), due to open at Freshney Place later this hospital scanner will be used on frailer patients and is one of 13 in England funded by the the funding, Health and Social Care Secretary Wes Streeting said the new machines would provide an extra 30,000 scans a year nationwide. Grimsby, Hull and Scunthorpe hospitals given solar power grants

Hospitals in Hull and northern Lincolnshire have been awarded grants to help them carry out major solar power investment of £8.5m by state-owned Great British Energy will enable rooftop panels and solar car ports to be installed at Hull Royal Infirmary, Diana Princess of Wales Hospital in Grimsby and Scunthorpe General investment was announced by the government on Best, of NHS Humber Health Partnership, said solar ports would be installed in the Argyle Street car park as well as in smaller car parks at Hull Royal Infirmary. "We will be putting panels on roofs wherever possible – starting with the women's and children's building," he said."Together, these panels will generate estimated savings of more than £635,000 a year."According to the Local Democracy Reporting Service, solar panels will be installed on the roof of the Grimsby hospital and just over £1m will go to Scunthorpe General Hospital.
