Kia Launches Carens Clavis in India, Starting at Rs 11.49 Lakh
New Delhi – Kia India has launched its latest family-focused vehicle, the Carens Clavis, at a starting price of Rs 11.49 lakh (ex-showroom). Blending SUV-inspired styling with MPV-like practicality, the Clavis is aimed at modern Indian families seeking space, safety, and premium features. Available in 6- and 7-seater configurations, the Carens Clavis features Kia's signature 'Opposites United' design language, highlighted by a Digital Tiger Face grille, LED headlamps, connected taillamps, and 17-inch dual-tone alloy wheels. A new Ivory Silver Gloss colour adds to its visual appeal. Inside, the Clavis offers a spacious and versatile cabin. Key features include a segment-first walk-in lever (Boss Mode), one-touch electric tumble seats, a 67.62 cm (26.62″) dual panoramic display, dual-pane sunroof, and 64-color ambient lighting. Comfort is further enhanced with ventilated front seats, a powered driver's seat, a BOSE 8-speaker sound system, and a smart air purifier with AQI display. Safety is a major focus, with Level 2 Advanced Driver Assistance Systems (ADAS) offering 20 autonomous features like Smart Cruise Control, Forward Collision-Avoidance Assist, Lane Keeping Assist, and Blind Spot Collision Warning. Additionally, 18 standard safety features include six airbags, Electronic Stability Control, Hill-start Assist, and a Rear Occupant Alert System. The Clavis is available with three engine options: Smartstream G1.5 petrol, G1.5 Turbo-GDi petrol, and a 1.5L CRDi diesel. Notably, it debuts Kia's new 6-speed manual transmission with the turbo-petrol engine. Automatic transmission options are also offered. Buyers can choose from seven variants (HTE to HTX+) and eight exterior colors.
