Royal Decree transfers Directorate General of Medical Services to Ministry of Health
Muscat: His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik has issued a Royal Decree transferring the Directorate General of Medical Services from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Ministry of Health.

HM The Sultan Issues Royal Decree
Muscat- His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik issued a Royal decree reading as follows: Royal Decree No. 51/2025 transfers the Directorate General of Medical Services from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Ministry of Health. Article (1) states that the Directorate General of Medical Services shall be transferred from the Diwan of Royal Court to the Ministry of Health. Article (2) stipulates that all allocations, rights, obligations and assets that belong to the Directorate General of Medical Services shall be transferred to the Ministry of Health. Article (3) transfers all occupants of medical and paramedical jobs, as well as other personnel of the Directorate General of Medical Services, to the Ministry of Health, along with their respective job status, grades and financial allocations. Article (4) says that this decree shall be published in the Official Gazette and enforced from its date of issue.
