Jairzinho Rozenstruik among UFC veterans booked for Dirty Boxing Championship 2 Many familiar names have been booked for Dirty Boxing Championship's second event.
Jairzinho Rozenstruik is back in action after booking his first fight since his UFC release.
Rozenstruik, a former UFC heavyweight title contender, is scheduled to fight Devon Schwan in the main event of Dirty Boxing Championship 2. The card goes down June 14 in Miami. The news was announced Tuesday by the promotion.
Rozenstruik was last in action in February when he lost a unanimous decision to top title contender Sergei Pavlovich – a defeat that was partly attributed to being exposed by paint fumes, according to the American Top Team product. Prior to the defeat, he was on a two-fight wining streak that included a decision win over Tai Tuivasa and a TKO over Shamil Gaziev. Rozenstruik's UFC release surprised many given his positive record and being a six-time UFC event headliner.
Rozenstruik's opponent, Schwan, has competed in MMA, Power Slap, and BKFC. He last foght in August, stopping Jesse Pringle under the BKFC banner.
Additionally, other former UFC fighters on the Dirty Boxing 2 card include Alex Caceres, Jessica Rose Clark, Phil Hawes, and Francisco Trinaldo.
