Codi Alert issued for missing 16-year-old from Chesapeake
A Codi Alert was issued Saturday night for a missing teenage girl from Chesapeake.
The Chesapeake Police Department is looking for Courtney Ann Mentz, who was last seen at 12 a.m. on Saturday on Stefanie Court, according to Virginia State Police.
She is white, with brown hair and blue eyes, 5′ 4″ and weighs 108 pounds. She was last seen wearing a tan sweatshirt and black sweatpants, according to a release.
It is unknown if she left on foot or by vehicle.
A Codi Alert, or a Critical Operation for a Disappeared Child Initiative Alert, indicates that there is a credible threat to the missing child.
