Kíla's Rónán Ó Snodaigh: ‘It's like walking into Finglas with 20 lads behind you. You're not that worried'
The frontman reveals how their song 'Disco Pigs' is an example of the band at their very best
It was all happening in Arklow last Saturday afternoon. Boo the cat is on the roof of the shed. Sweetie the dog is running around the field. Both are looking at the man standing by the trees at the back of their house.
In the space of two hours, the Kíla frontman Rónán Ó Snodaigh spoke about intuition, U2 (Bono once said that Kíla were 'the big bang' of Irish music), disliking a famous musician and telling him so, living in Dingle (he never got any work there from other musicians), life, Ginger Baker, Charlie Watts... as well as playing football with my son, myself and Sweetie.
