YOUNGSTOWN, Ohio (WKBN) – The Ursuline boys basketball team was upset by Gates Mills Hawken 84-66 on Tuesday night in the Division IV District Semifinals at Ursuline High School. Greg Price led the Hawks with a game-high 28 points in the victory. Jalen Gunther and Noah Bell tallied 23 points apiece in the setback for the Irish. With the win, Hawken advances to face the winner of NDCL/Oberlin in the Division IV District Championship game on Saturday at North Royalton High School. CANFIELD, Ohio (WKBN) – Canfield jumped out to an early lead and added to it during a 47-23 win over Salem in the Division IV District Semifinals on Tuesday night. The Cardinals took command early with a 16-1 run over the Quakers to begin the first quarter. Canfield was led by a balanced scoring attack, featuring Bryce Roberts and Drew Shapiro each with nine points while Ben Weaver and Jake DeLisio both notched eight points. With the loss, Salem's season comes to an end at 8-16 overall after previously notching a playoff victory over Clearview last week.
