Canfield's tournament run ends at regionals
CANTON, Ohio (WKBN) – No. 7 seeded Streetsboro knocked off top-seeded Canfield 51-45 in the Division IV Girls Basketball Regional Semifinals on Wednesday night at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.
Jenna Triveri led the Cardinals with 16 points in the setback.
With the loss, Canfield ends the season with an overall record of 23-3.
Streetsboro improves to 22-3 on the campaign. The Rockets advance to face Shaker Heights Laurel in the Division IV Regional Final on Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Canton Memorial Fieldhouse.
