Al B. Sure! Is Ready To Face Diddy In Court And Testify In Federal Sex Trafficking Trial

Al B. Sure is 'absolutely' willing to take the stand in Diddy's federal sex trafficking trial with his own allegations against the disgraced music mogul. While promoting his memoir Do You Believe Me Now? during a recent appearance on FOX 5 New York, Al opened up about moments that have haunted him for years, including linking Diddy to his own health scare and the passing of the mother of both of their children, Kim Porter. During the interview, Al also revealed that he was recently subpoenaed to testify in Diddy's federal trial, which stems from allegations of sexual misconduct and trafficking. He confirmed that his legal team is already preparing, and when asked directly if he plans to take the stand, his answer was simple: 'Absolutely.' He also made strong claims that efforts were made to silence him, including what he described as an 'expensive PR campaign' and even a 'bounty' placed on his head. While speaking on Porter, who passed away in 2018 from complications related to pneumonia, he revealed that she once warned him to 'watch [his] back.' At the time, he said he didn't fully understand what she meant — but looking back now, those words hit differently. Al shared that Porter's death never sat right with him, and has publicly questioned the official story behind what really happened. He's alluded to the idea that Diddy may have had a hand in her demise as well. 'She was in the best of health,' he recalled. 'We had just seen each other before she passed. We were celebrating our son's Netflix Christmas special, and she was doing just fine.' The 'Nite and Day' singer also alleged that his own health crisis in 2022 — when he slipped into a coma from multi-organ failure — may not have been accidental. He believes Diddy played a role, and when asked if he holds him responsible, he responded, 'Absolutely.' Despite the heavy claims, Kim Porter's children with Diddy released a public statement last year addressing speculation around their mother's passing. 'There was no foul play,' they asserted, adding that her cause of death had been clearly established and asked the public to respect their grieving process. 'Grief is a lifelong journey,' the statement continued. 'We ask for peace as we continue to cope with her loss every day.' Diddy's trial started last week with jury selection and is expected to start with opening statements today (May 12). More from Al B. Sure! Al B. Sure! Blames Diddy For His 2022 Coma & Continues To Question Kim Porter's Death

Black America Web Featured Video CLOSE Singer Al B. Sure! is once again taking aim at Diddy by questioning Kim Porter's death. Al was in a coma a few years back and also received a liver transplant, so now he's ready to tell his story in his own memoir titled Do You Believe Me Now? Part of that story also includes his son's mother, Porter. He recently stopped by FOX 5 New York to promote the book and recount his last meetings with her and her advice when around Diddy, who's currently on trial for sex trafficking. 'The late Kim Porter, who you know, kind of warned me all along the way to just kind of like 'watch your back' and so forth, and I didn't understand why,' Al said. Actress and model Kim Porter died in November 2018, and her autopsy's cause of death was first read 'deferred' for months before it was eventually changed to pneumonia. But when asked if he believes that's honestly why she passed, Al said, 'Absolutely not.' 'She was in the best of health. We just saw each other prior to her passing,' Al remembers. 'We were actually celebrating our son's new Netflix Christmas special, and she was doing just fine.' In retrospect, Al even remembers playfighting with Diddy at the event when Porter warned him not to cross that line. But while Al has alluded to Porter's death being shrouded in mystery and alluded to Diddy's involvement, he clearly states that he doesn't want to bash the former mogul as networks approached him to talk about his experience. 'I have no interest in talking about another man. But I will speak about where our paths cross and what's most relevant,' he said. 'Even with Sean being incarcerated, that's not to be celebrated. There's way too much collateral damage. Many people's lives are affected.' Still, his involvement has taken a legal turn since he was subpoenaed and said he's 'absolutely' willing to testify. He then recounts all the steps he had to overcome to tell his story, including a bounty on his head, a PR smear campaign, and believes Diddy or those close to him are responsible for his multi-organ failure that led to his 2022 coma. Last September, he took to Instagram with claims that her Kim's Lost Words memoir was 'fake' and called her death a 'tragic murder' because she was plotting to expose Diddy like Cassie did. See social media's reaction to Al's latest interview below. Al B. Sure! Blames Diddy For His 2022 Coma & Continues To Question Kim Porter's Death was originally published on

Sean ‘Diddy' Combs admits he's ‘nervous' as federal sex trafficking trial begins jury selection

NEW YORK — An anxious Sean 'Diddy' Combs sat for the first day of jury selection in his federal sex trafficking case Monday, asking the judge for a two-minute bathroom break after hearing from a half-dozen prospective jurors. 'I'm sorry, your honor. I'm a little nervous today,' said the hip hop mogul, dressed in a dark blue sweater and white button-down shirt. Combs, 55, is accused of using his stardom and his perch as the powerful co-founder of Bad Boy Records to run an empire of sexual horrors, forcing women into sex trafficking and abuse at drug-fueled parties. Jury selection is expected to continue through the week, with the roughly eight-week trial starting on May 12, Manhattan Federal Court Judge Arun Subramanian said. Several of the jurors questioned in Monday's morning session said they'd seen the video, which was released in in 2023 showing Combs brutally beating R&B singer Cassie Ventura in a hallway at the InterContinental Hotel in Century City in 2016. Ventura is one of the alleged victims in the case. One juror was excused for cause after she answered in a questionnaire that a still photo from the video 'could be damning evidence.' Three potential jurors talked about their own experiences with sexual abuse. Another potential juror, a photography producer for HBO, told the judge, 'I've seen the video. I've read a few headlines and articles … The video was disturbing. It was upsetting to watch, but I don't know the full story.' Combs' lawyer, Marc Agnifilo, tried to have her removed because HBO had recently aired a documentary titled 'The Fall of Diddy,' but the judge reserved his decision on her for the time being. One potential juror was booted for a different connection to the case — she's a top marketing officer at publisher Simon & Schuster, and she reviewed a press release that went out about Al B. Sure's memoir, 'Do You Believe Me Now?' Sure's late ex-wife, Kim Porter, dated Combs, and Sure has called for an investigation into her 2018 death. Combs, 55, has been locked up in Brooklyn's Metropolitan Detention Center since his arrest in September, despite efforts by his lawyers to have him released on a $50 million bond. His trial in Manhattan Federal Court will shine a spotlight on the goings on at his 'freak-off' parties, where prosecutors allege he forced women to take part in sexual performances with male sex workers. The charges against him include racketeering conspiracy, sex trafficking, and related counts, all of which he denies. His lawyers contend that all of his sexual encounters were consensual, and videos prove that one victim 'not only consented, but thoroughly enjoyed herself.' Ventura, who was in a longterm relationship with Combs, filed a lawsuit against him in November 2023, alleging years of rape, sex trafficking and physical abuse. Combs settled the suit with Ventura the next day, though the terms of the settlement were not disclosed. The trial is expected to focus on allegations by Ventura and three other women, who will be allowed to testify under pseudonyms. -----------
