Lauren Sánchez Praises Eldest Son Nikko on His 24th Birthday: 'You Teach Me Something New Every Day'
Lauren Sánchez is a proud mom!
The broadcast journalist turned author celebrated her son Nikko Gonzalez's 24th birthday in a sentimental Instagram carousel.
'From those first mischievous smiles to watching you chart your own path... my heart is full, Sánchez, 55, captioned the post. The collage of photos included one of him after skydiving and another of Nikko as a boy sitting in the back of a car sticking his tongue out with a Spider-Man figurine.
'You've always moved to your own rhythm, adventurous, yet always so calm in the middle of a storm, and so hardworking. Your steady grace continues to amaze me,' she continued. 'Another trip around the sun, and still, you teach me something new every day. I love you SO SO much. Happy birthday Nikko 🤍🤍🤍🤍🤍.'

Among those wishing Gonzalez a happy birthday were Kim Kardashian, Khloé Kardashian, Kris Jenner and Jewel.
"Happy Birthday Nikko we love you!!!! ❤️😍🎂🥳😘🎂," Jenner wrote in the comment section of Sánchez's post. Kim simply added, "Happy Birthday Nikko!" while Khloé commented with a similar sentiment: "Happy birthday Nikko!! ❤️."
"Such a sweet young man… you're good mamma ❤️," Jewel wrote, as Melissa Gorga added, "So handsome! Happy Birthday 🎉."

Nikko, whom Sánchez shares with former NFL player Tony Gonzalez, has been making his parents proud lately. He walked the runway for the 2024 Dolce & Gabbana Alta Sartoria show in Sardinia, Italy, last July, a moment Sánchez said made her a "proud mom" as she sat on the front row.
Tony's wife October Gonzalez also posted a sweet Instagram carousel of photos in honor of Nikko's birthday on Wednesday. The first photo showed Nikko with October's two children, Malia and River Gonzalez, when they were younger.
'Happiest of Birthdays Nikko! It has been and continues to be an absolute gift to watch you grow. I love you so much, 🤍' October wrote.
Sánchez reposted October's birthday post to her Instagram Stories with a big white heart emoji.
The two families spent time together over Thanksgiving, although Sánchez's fiancé Jeff Bezos was not present for the blended holiday.
A source confirmed Bezos and Sánchez's engagement in May 2023, while the couple were on vacation together in the South of France. They first went public with their relationship in January 2019.
Sánchez was previously married to Patrick Whitesell, with whom she has two children, while Bezos was married for 25 years to MacKenzie Scott, with whom he has four children.
