Kolkata nurse gets Florence Nightingale award from Prez

Kolkata: Doli Biswas, a nurse at a private hospital in Kolkata, received the prestigious National Florence Nightingale Award for her 'exemplary contribution to nursing and compassionate patient care'.
She received the award from President Droupadi Murmu at Rashtrapati Bhavan on Friday.
Biswas is the chief nursing officer at Fortis Hospital, Anandapur. The award is instituted by the ministry of health and family welfare. This prestigious recognition is presented to nursing professionals across the country for their outstanding dedication, service, and contributions to healthcare.
Speaking on the honour, Biswas said: "Nursing is a noble service.
