Mohanlal's latest Malayalam film, 'Thudarum', is proving to be a major box office success. However, amid the film's growing popularity, a piracy incident has caused concern for the makers. A viral video surfaced on social media showing the film being played illegally on a tourist bus going from Malappuram to to Manorama News, a woman passenger flagged the issue by informing actor Binu Pappu and providing video evidence of the screening. The footage quickly gained attention, prompting the film's producer, M Renjith, to take M Renjith filed a formal complaint with the Cyber Cell headquarters. In response, Kerala Culture Minister Saji Cherian said strict action would be taken if proper evidence and a complaint were submitted. The bus, owned by Domino's Travels, reportedly had an Android TV system that was connected to the passengers' mobile phones. The owner claimed that the driver and staff were unaware of the source of the content but has agreed to cooperate fully with the investigation by sharing the passengers' the crime thriller, directed by Tharun Moorthy, has grossed over Rs 150 crore worldwide in just under 10 days, continuing the actor's strong box office streak. The film has also found favour with both audiences and critics, positioning itself as one of the top-grossing Malayalam films of the the trailer: This film also marks a rare milestone for Mohanlal.
