Ohio Wall to be displayed at Greenville VFW site
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A VFW site in Greenville will host the Ohio Wall later this month.
According to the Greenville Daily Advocate, the VFW Post 7262 will have the memorial displayed on May 17.
The Ohio Wall lists the names of POW/MIA servicemen who have not returned home. These individuals were reported missing between the years 1968 and 1976.
The wall was established by Chained Eagles of Ohio, an organization that consists of veterans and citizens alike. The organizations main concern is the return of all men listed missing.
The Ohio Wall will be on display beginning at 6 p.m. If weather becomes an issue, the program will be moved inside of the VFW.
There will be dinner available after the viewing of the Ohio Wall. Both events are open to the public, but an RSVP is required for the dinner.
To do so either call Don Dietrich at 937-423-2664 or Lori Denniston at 937-621-1044.
Karaoke by Kia will begin after dinner, from 8 p.m. to midnight.
