Sunland Park Fire quickly knocks down structure fire
EL PASO, Texas (KTSM) — Sunland Park Fire responded to and quickly knocked down a structure fire on Sunday afternoon, June 8, the department said on social media.
The fire happened shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday along the 200 block of Edgewood in Sunland Park. Dona Ana Fire Resuce assisted.
The fire happened on a covered porch attached to a home.
The roof of the porch was damaged and so were dividing walls between between neighboring properties.
The fire is believed to have started on an electric pole and spread to the porch. The pole was also damaged by the fire.
No one was displaced or injured.
The fire is under investigation by the Sunland Park Fire Marshal's Office.
