A $34 Million Oceanfront California Home Just Broke Its Own Price Record
An oceanfront house in California's Orange County has sold for $34 million—the second time the home has set a record for the affluent town of Dana Point.
The sellers are retired investment manager Gordon 'Gordy' Crawford and his wife, Dona Crawford. The Crawfords set a Dana Point record when they paid $33 million in 2022 for the contemporary house, which is located in the Monarch Bay gated community about 60 miles from Los Angeles. Then, last year, they listed it for $39 million after buying a different home nearby. They later dropped the price to $36.5 million.
