Donia Samir Ghanem has officially finished shooting her latest film, Rocky El Ghalaba, which will be released on July 30th as part of the Summer 2025 lineup. The film is a social comedy in which Donia plays a boxer who works as a personal bodyguard for a celebrity embodied by Mohamed Mamdouh. Together, they get caught up in a series of hilarious and heartwarming misadventures. Rocky El Ghalaba stars Donia Samir Ghanem, Mohamed Mamdouh, Mohamed Tharwat, Mohamed Radwan, and Salwa Othman, with special appearances by Ahmed Saad, Os Os, and more. The film was written by Kareem Youssef, produced by Mohamed Ahmed El Sobky, and directed by Ahmed El Gendy.

Donia Samir Ghanem returns to Ramadan dramas in 2025 with 'Aisha al Dour' (Playing a Role), set to premiere in the second half of the holy month. ON channels will broadcast the series at 7:15 pm, with a repeat at 11:30 am. It will also be available for streaming on the WATCH IT and Shahid platforms. Ghanem plays the role of Aisha, a divorced woman and mother of two. A strange twist of fate sees her playing a double role as a university student. The cast also stars Mohamed Kelany, Mohamed Tharwat, Fadwa Abed, and more. Ahmed El Gendy directs the drama from a script he co-wrote with Karim Youssef. It consists of 15 episodes and is produced by Ahmed El Sobky. The official logline for the series reads, "Having devoted herself to raising her children and serving those around her, Aysha is given a chance at life again when she enrols in university on behalf of her niece." "Aicha Aldor" marks Ghanem's comeback to the drama marathon after two years of absence. She made her last participation in the marathon with the 2023 TV series " Gat Salema".
