Both Kings Island and Cedar Point have adjusted height requirements for several of their thrill rides. Cedar Point also adjusted height requirements on some thrill rides. ‘You're a coward:' Woman fakes cancer to swindle $200K, home from mom
A woman will spend decades in prison after she was convicted of exploiting her elderly mother. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] Vickie Long admitted to exploiting an elderly person, identity fraud, and theft by taking, according to the Lookout Mountain Judicial Circuit District Attorney's Office. Long conned her mother into giving her a large amount of money for fake cancer treatments. Law enforcement found that most of the money was being used on fentanyl. Long's mother lost her home and $200,000 due to the schemes. A judge sentenced Long to 30 years, with the first 15 years to be served in confinement. Dorothy Lane Market announces opening timeframe, hiring fair for new location
Dorothy Lane Market has announced an opening timeframe for its fourth location in Mason. [DOWNLOAD: Free WHIO-TV News app for alerts as news breaks] The upcoming DLM is at the corner of Mason Montgomery Road and the newly constructed Veterans Parkway. Graeter's relaunches Flying Pig treat
DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Even if you're not heading to Cincinnati to participate in the Flying Pig Marathon in early May, you can still celebrate the occasion with a sweet treat. Graeter's Ice Cream is relaunching 'Flying Pig Tracks,' an ice cream flavor that recognizes the Flying Pig Marathon in the Queen City. Peanut butter cups and white chocolate fudge are mixed into the ice cream to create the limited-time treat. On the specialized container, flying pigs holding ice cream cones above Cincinnati are depicted.
