Newburgh Museum highlights ‘Boomers' in new exhibit
NEWBURGH, Ind. (WEHT) — The Newburgh Museum has unveiled their 2025 featured exhibit, 'Newburgh Boomers (1946-1960).'
The exhibit opened to the public on Friday.
The topics the exhibit explores include:
Post World War II
Downtown Merchants
Korean War
Civil Rights Movement
Local school consolidations
Newburgh, Indiana Sesquicentennial
The museum also has new hours:
Friday and Saturday: 12 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Sunday 1 p.m. to 3 p.m.
Museum officials say with the expanding hours, they are also looking for volunteer docents.
