Aldi shoppers 'drooling' as new crisp flavour 'finally' spotted on shelves
Crisp fans are buzzing after spotting a popular flavour of crisps on Aldi's shelves for the first time – and are now rushing to get their hands on a bag.
Viral snack brand Takis has brought its blue rolled tortilla chips to the UK to tap into shoppers' "continued demand for spicy snacks." The Blue Heat Takis, which is the second top-selling flavour in the US, are described as "an explosive combination of chilli and lime flavours".
Fans are buzzing after the treats are rolling out into UK stores - joining the UK's existing Takis' line-up including Fuego, Dragon Sweet Chilli and Fuego. They have already been launched in Co-Op and Morrisons will join the stock list next month, from April 2. The 55g bag, priced at £1.25 will be available in convenience stores this month as well.
Recently, the crisps landed at Aldi, setting customers back £2.99 for a large bag. Sharing the news on Instagram, Aldi said: "You asked, we delivered! Takis Blue Heat have landed in Aldi for £2.99! Who's ready to turn up the heat?"
